About ForensicCalc

Forensic-grade separate property tracing, built for the professionals who have to defend it.

ForensicCalc is a forensic tracing platform for retirement and investment accounts in divorce and family law matters. It separates marital property from separate property period by period, following each contribution, withdrawal, fee, loan, and dollar of growth through the account so the math can be inspected line by line rather than accepted on faith. Every trace produces a court-ready report with a documented methodology, a written rationale, and a full audit trail of who changed what and when.

The platform is built for the people who do this work under scrutiny: certified divorce financial analysts, forensic accountants, valuation experts, QDRO specialists, and the family law attorneys who rely on their reports in settlement negotiations and at trial. It is designed for matters where commingling, rollovers, and years of statements make a spreadsheet impractical, and where opposing counsel will ask exactly how each number was derived.

ForensicCalc is built and maintained by our own team of forensic accounting and family law technology specialists, who work directly with practicing CDFAs to keep the methodology consistent with accepted tracing standards. We build the tool we would want to rely on in our own reports.
